Do you want to spend a full day of your holiday exploring the beautiful surroundings of Barcelona and the wine of the countryside, but you're not an early riser? Or maybe you don't want to miss the opportunity to reach the monastery of Montserrat using the impressive rack railway from the foothills of the mountain?

This tour is our answer to both questions. Our Montserrat, Food and Wine tour departs at a reasonable time to make the most of our Montserrat and Wine combos. You will enjoy a very scenic ride on the rack railway to the monastery and then be visited for an hour by one of our professional English speaking local guides. You'll learn all you need to know about the history of this monastery, followed by another hour of free time for you to spend as you see fit - there's plenty to do up there!

Enjoy a full seasonal lunch included with wine before we take you to a local boutique winery, where you'll learn all about our wine country and traditions through a very intimate approach. As with all our tours, you'll taste three fantastic local wines before finishing a great day outdoors as part of one of our small groups - a day to remember!

• The group size is a maximum of 16 people. We reserve the right to extend the limit to 18.

• Comfortable clothing and footwear is recommended, as there is some walking involved.
• Temperatures in Montserrat and in the cellar are usually more extreme than in the city. Please check the weather forecast and dress accordingly.
