Güell Park is a magical and peculiar place that always surprises its visitors. A visit to Barcelona would never be complete without a walk in Park Güell.
With an extension of more than 17 hectares, the Park Güell is covered by undulating forms, columns that look like trees, animal figures and geometric shapes. Most of the surfaces are decorated with mosaics made of coloured ceramic pieces.
The Expiatory Temple of the Sagrada Familia has become over the years one of the symbols of Barcelona for which the Catalan capital is known worldwide, as well as being the most visited monument in Spain. This interesting work is the greatest exponent of Catalan modernist architecture, designed by Antoni Gaudí and whose history dates back 133 years.
