FULL DAY TOUR TO SITGES AND GIRONA FROM BARCELONA

Description

You'll leave Barcelona early in the morning to make the most of this day full of new experiences. First you'll go to Girona, an ancient Roman city built on the Via Augusta, where you'll be able to walk through its streets and enjoy a panoramic guided tour of its main sights: the Church of Sant Martí, Girona Cathedral, the Ramblas and the Jewish Quarter. At the end of the walk through the centre and after having visited several of the scenes of Games of Thrones, you will enjoy a free hour for lunch. Our guide will be happy to recommend some places where you can try the typical gastronomy of this area.

With your stomach full of butifarra sausage and anchovies, you will leave for Sitges, where our guide will explain the history of this beautiful town and monuments such as the Parish Church of Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla, the Palau del Rei Moro or the Casa del Reloj (Clock House). You'll also have free time to stroll along the seafront promenade and do some shopping - don't miss the small craft shops hidden in the little streets of the town centre!
