Discover the most interesting places in the historic centre of Granada and the lower part of the Albaicín, the best way to get to know Granada from its historic heart. For more than two hours we will visit places as representative of Granada as the Cathedral, the Alcaicería or the corral del Carbón among other places that the visitor should not miss when he is in the capital of Granada.
From the old souk, apart from the district named World Heritage Site by Unesco, we will walk through the Alcaicería, the old Arab souk with its narrow streets to imagine the old silk merchants at the time of the Muslim domination. Of course, a visit to such representative monuments as the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel is a must.
Once we get into the Albaicín, we will show you the Arab market and the tea shops that populate this neighbourhood and that are so representative of the place. The next stop is the Mirador de la Alhambra. Don't forget your camera because here you will take a photo to remember, with a picture of the Nasrid fortress that will leave you speechless. On the banks of the Darro and in the heart of the city, we will see the Church of Santa Ana, built on the site of the old Mosque, and the Royal Chancery of Granada, now the seat of the High Court of Justice of Andalusia. We will also pass through the Plaza de Isabel La Católica, a good place to commemorate the important mark of the passage of the Catholic Monarchs through the city. Nor should we miss the Corral del Carbón, an Andalusian jewel somewhat unknown to the average visitor.
