Group excursion from Seville to Cordoba: Caliphate and Muslim

Description

The tour begins with a scenic one-hour bus journey passing through beautiful towns such as Carmona, La Luisiana and La Carlota, to reach Cordoba, the city that was once the light of the world when it enjoyed the position of being a caliphate city. Cordoba offers an enormous cultural and historical legacy. We will visit the beautiful Mosque-Cathedral, declared a World Heritage Site, and considered the most important monument of all Western Islamic art. Its gleaming golden mosaics and endless row of red and white voussoir arches are a visual delight. We will not miss the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, the Jewish quarter, with its narrow streets and white houses full of flowers and the only synagogue in Andalusia. We will also walk along the beautiful "Calle de las Flores", one of the most traditional places in Cordoba. You will also have some free time to walk around, enjoy a traditional meal or do some shopping.
