Description

You will leave Madrid early in the morning towards Cuenca, crossing the community of Madrid by bus to enter La Mancha. When you arrive in Cuenca, your guide will take you through the old town, explaining more about the events that have taken place in this city over the centuries. You will be able to see the Castle whose first construction dates back to the time of Arab domination, and going down the Trabuco street you will be able to contemplate the incredible views of the Huécar and Júcar gorges with the Parador de Cuenca on the top of the hill.

Passing by the Church of San Pedro, you will arrive at the Plaza Mayor and from there you can approach the neo-Gothic Cathedral. After the guided tour you will have free time to enjoy the beautiful scenery formed by the hanging houses and take pictures before returning to the bus.

The second stop will be in Toledo, this city, embraced by the Tagus river, owes part of its historical importance to its geographical position. Muslims, Jews and Christians lived in harmony in this city and with your guide you will discover the vestiges of these cultures that are scattered throughout the city.

Upon arrival you will have some free time to try some of Toledo's gastronomic specialities on your own and then you will start your walking tour in the Plaza de Zocodover, the heart of the city, and from there you will pass by the most important points such as the Calle Comercio, the Cathedral, Santo Tomé and Santa María la Blanca. You will end at the bridge of San Martín and then we will stop at the Mirador del Valle briefly at the Mirador del Valle, for a panoramic view of the city that you will remember for a long time.

Afterwards, we will take the bus back to Madrid, where you can rest until you reach the capital of Spain.

There is no doubt that this is a tour where you will learn a lot about history, architecture and construction on your visit to Madrid, it is your chance to visit two spectacular cities in one day!

  • Be amazed by the hanging houses of Cuenca, beautiful balconies of gothic architecture hanging over a cliff.
  • Discover the first Gothic cathedral built in Castile, the Cathedral of Cuenca.
