Don't miss the opportunity to visit Segovia and El Escorial with this tour departing from Ávila!
Discover two of the main cultural and historical attractions of the Spanish plateau and a Spanish plateau and World Heritage Site: Segovia, where you will be able to see one of the best Roman one of the best preserved Roman aqueducts in the world, and the Monastery of El Escorial and its basilica, the Escorial and its basilica, burial place of the kings of Spain.
We will leave Avila around 10:30 am for Segovia, where our guide will explain everything about the creation of the aqueduct by the Romans, and we will continue our route through the streets of the city centre, passing by the Cathedral, continuing through the Canonjías neighbourhood, until we reach the famous Alcázar, a symbol of the art and history of Spain. There you will have free time to have lunch, do some shopping or visit some of the monuments on your own.
Once the break is over, we will go to El Escorial, for a guided visit inside its monastery inside the monastery. There, accompanied by our guide we will discover this architectural complex that includes a royal palace a basilica, a pantheon, a library, a school and a monastery.
We will return to Madrid around 18.30 in the evening.
