Come and see the Cathedral of Jerez with Pancho Tours!!! the old Collegiate Church, elevated to cathedral dignity by the bull "Archiepiscopus Hispalenses" of March 3, 1980 by John Paul II. The temple was consecrated by Cardinal José María Bueno Monreal on 10 December 1978, the second centenary of the inauguration of the temple. As such cathedral of the new bishopric of Jerez was the place where the bull of constitution of the Diocese was promulgated on June 29, 1980 with the entrance of the first bishop Monsignor Rafael Bellido Caro. It was also the church where Monsignor Juan del Río Martín was ordained bishop on September 23, 2000 and Monsignor José Mazuelos Pérez on June 6, 2009. It was also the place where many priestly and deaconal ordinations were held, as well as other important celebrations of the diocese.
